Our goal is to provide the children with a positive introduction to sport and hope you share our belief that all children are capable and should not be underestimated or overlooked.
For children to develop a lifelong passion for sport and to continue to participate and be active throughout their lives, we believe that they should be given the opportunity to try a variety of sports which are delivered in a fun and positive manner.
The sports we can offer are football, handball, dodgeball, archery, tri-golf, tag rugby or mini Olympics and our Sportivos coaches will provide a fun-filled, engaging and inclusive programme.
We provide weekly PE sessions during class times as well as an after school club programme.
Our coaches will ensure that all activities are taught in an engaging way to instil self-confidence, co-ordination and the individual skills required for the sport. We endeavour to consolidate valuable skills such as sharing, teamwork and listening into each session.
We recommend booking a term block so that children can benefit fully by giving them the time to pick up the basics and develop an understanding of the sport.
Most schools offer after school clubs to one year group at a time or for schools with a smaller cohort, one key stage at a time. We leave it up to the school to decide which year group to offer the club to, but we recommend the summer term for reception children. After school clubs are normally paid for by the parents but we understand that some schools part or fully fund this. We can create a signup page on our website or the school office can collect the payment and registration form directly from the children/parents and pass these onto us at the start of the booking.
Our coaches have undergone enhanced DBS checks, have a First Aid Work qualification and have completed the Safeguarding course.
